Stephen Deel
Loan Officer
Born in Virginia, Stephen has lived in Pennsylvania and South Dakota but has called Knoxville home for over 20 years. After finishing college in 2006 Stephen spent a year as a loan officer in one of the most challenging seasons we’ve seen in the mortgage industry. He returned to his college job in retail management and went on to lead various small businesses and large corporations in Knoxville to grow in their profitability and service. We’re excited to welcome his aptitude for problem solving and his love for connecting with people to Foundation Mortgage after being away for 15 years.
When not guiding people through the home loan process, Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife of 16 years, Sara, and their six children. You’ll often find them exploring one of the many trails of East Tennessee, making homemade pizza together, or spending time with their school and church communities.
